The White Lotus swaps its guests every season — Hawaii, then Sicily, then Thailand — so this chart is three little family trees side by side, one panel per resort: coral for Maui, terracotta for Sicily, jade for Ko Samui. The trick of the whole show is the connective tissue: follow the dashed gold threads and the gold-bordered cards to see how Tanya, Greg and Belinda quietly stitch all three vacations into one story.

It’s an anthology — mostly
Every season opens with a death and rewinds a week, at a different White Lotus resort with a new cast. Almost nobody crosses panels — which is why the gold-bordered cards matter: Greg, Tanya and Belinda are the only regulars who do, and every cross-season plot runs through them.
The one man in all three seasons
In Hawaii, Greg is the flirty guest who tells Tanya he’s dying. Between seasons he marries her; in Sicily he picks fights, leaves for a mysterious “work trip,” and is strongly implied to be behind the plot that ends her life — with an iron-clad prenup only her death could beat. By Season 3 he’s in Thailand under the name “Gary,” spending her fortune with a new girlfriend, Chloe.
Why Season 3 still whispers about her
Tanya McQuoid came to Maui to scatter her mother’s ashes and left with Greg. In Sicily, Quentin’s “high-end gays” wine and dine her — then try to kill her. She shoots her way off the yacht and drowns climbing down to the dinghy. Her money is the engine of Season 3: it’s what “Gary” is hiding, and what Belinda’s silence is worth.
The full-circle arc
In Season 1, Tanya dangles funding for Belinda’s wellness-business dream, then drops her. In Season 3, Belinda arrives in Thailand on a staff exchange, recognizes “Gary,” and — with her son Zion negotiating — leaves with $5 million for her silence… then drops her own would-be partner, Pornchai, exactly the way Tanya once dropped her.
The one real family tree
Sicily’s left column is the chart’s only three-generation bloodline: Bert, his son Dominic, and grandson Albie, on a roots trip to find their Sicilian relatives — three portraits of the same wandering eye at ages 80, 55 and 25. The women they came to honor slam the door on them.
Who’s in the box, season by season
Every premiere teases a corpse. S1: Armond, after the suite war with Shane ends with a kitchen knife. S2: Tanya — plus Quentin and his crew on the yacht. S3: Rick and Chelsea, after Rick’s revenge on hotel owner Jim Hollinger — the man who turns out to be his father — ends in the shootout where Gaitok fires the final shot.
The name decoder
New resort, new blondes, same energy. Keep these apart:
Greg vs. “Gary”
Same man, same actor (Jon Gries). Greg in Hawaii and Sicily; “Gary” is the alias he lives under in Thailand after Tanya’s death — the name he panics over when Belinda says hello.
Tanya McQuoid vs. Tanya McQuoid-Hunt
Also the same woman. The hyphen is the marriage: she’s McQuoid in Maui, McQuoid-Hunt in Sicily — and the prenup behind that hyphen is the whole motive.
One doomed couple per season
Shane & Rachel = S1’s honeymooners (he fights the manager, she has doubts). Ethan & Harper and Cameron & Daphne = S2’s poisonous double date. Rick & Chelsea = S3’s age-gap romantics — the only couple that doesn’t check out.
The Spillers vs. the Sullivans
S2’s two couples: Ethan & Harper Spiller are the new-money skeptics; Cameron & Daphne Sullivan are the old-money golden retrievers. Cameron and Ethan were college roommates; everything else is score-settling.
Mossbacher kids vs. Ratliff kids
S1’s teens: Olivia (mean, well-read) and Quinn (screens, then paddling). S3’s trio: Saxon (gym), Piper (monastery) and Lochlan (whoever he’s standing next to).
Portia vs. Chelsea vs. Chloe
Three young women orbiting the Greg-Tanya money. Portia = Tanya’s assistant in Sicily, romanced as a distraction. Chelsea = Rick’s girlfriend in Thailand. Chloe = “Gary’s” girlfriend, who befriends Chelsea — history rhyming.
Quinn vs. Zion
The two sons who tag along and steal the ending: Quinn Mossbacher refuses to leave Hawaii; Zion Lindsey flies in with an MBA and talks “Gary” up to $5 million.
The staff, season by season
S1: manager Armond and spa manager Belinda. S2: manager Valentina. S3: guard Gaitok, mentor Mook — and Belinda again, this time as the guest of honor at the staff table.
