Thirty-eight islanders, eight recouplings, one Casa Amor. Here’s who was with whom.
This isn’t a family tree — it’s a coupling map of Series 13, the summer 2026 run. Nobody here is related to anybody (except one pair of brothers), but everyone is coupled to somebody, and the somebody keeps changing. Read it top to bottom: blue borders are the islanders who walked in on Day 1, orange are the bombshells who arrived to break them up, pink are the Casa Amor arrivals, and a gold ring means they made the final.
How the villa actually works
Love Island looks chaotic and isn’t. Six mechanics generate every twist on the chart above.
You must be in a couple, or you go home
Islanders pair off on Day 1 and then recouple every few days — sometimes the boys choose, sometimes the girls, sometimes the newest arrival gets first pick. Anyone left unchosen is dumped from the island. That single rule is why people who barely know each other suddenly pick each other, and why this series ran through eight recouplings and two steal nights in 48 days.
New arrivals exist to break couples up
A bombshell walks in mid-series and is usually handed a power: first pick at the next recoupling, or a straight steal. On Day 4, Kavan and Priya arrived and were told they had to save the two most vulnerable islanders or be dumped themselves. On Day 16 four sleepover-villa arrivals each stole someone, and on Day 34, Elicia and Ethan did the same — Elicia took Finley, Ethan took Priya.
Two villas, six strangers each, one blind recoupling
On Day 23 the boys moved to a second villa (Casa Amor) with six new girls, while six new boys walked into the main villa. Three days later came the Day 26 recoupling, made blind: each islander chose to stay loyal or return with someone new, without knowing what their partner had done. Whoever was left unpicked was dumped.
Day 26 rearranged the whole series
Six of the main-villa couples broke that night. Lorenzo came back with Julia, Kavan with Charleen, Simba with Marà; Yasmin picked Tommy S, Priya picked Jordon and Aidan picked Martha. Jasmine and Angelista had stayed loyal — and were left single when their partners walked back in with someone else. Both were re-picked on Day 30, and both finished on the podium.
Julia and Lorenzo won it
They coupled up at Casa Amor on Day 26 and were never apart after it. In the Day 48 public vote they took 46.9% of the first round and 62.4% head-to-head against Jasmine and Kavan. Julia is only the second Casa Amor girl to win the UK series. It was also the first final in the show’s history to feature three couples instead of four.
The final five days were all votes
Day 40 brought the last recoupling. On Day 45 a couples’ vote put three pairs at risk and the public dumped Aidan and Priya. On Day 46 the ex-islanders returned to decide who else went: they voted out Mica and Samraj — who were then handed a twist and told to dump one more couple, and chose Yasmin and Tommy S. That left three couples for the final.
The name decoder
Three Murphys, two Tommys, and a set of names that all start with the same syllable. Keep these apart:
Three Murphys — only two are related
Aidan Murphy and Kavan Murphy are brothers, the first siblings (twins aside) in the same UK series. Charleen Murphy arrived at Casa Amor and is no relation to either.
Tommy M vs. Tommy S
Tommy Murphy (“Tommy M”) arrived on Day 7, coupled with Ellie and was dumped on Day 21 — and despite the surname, he isn’t related to Aidan or Kavan either. Tommy Stagg (“Tommy S”) came out of Casa Amor, coupled with Yasmin and lasted to Day 46.
Jasmine vs. Julia
Both were coupled with Lorenzo. Jasmine was his Day 1 partner and finished as runner-up with Kavan. Julia was the Casa Amor girl he came back with on Day 26 — and the one he won with.
Martha vs. Marà
Two Casa Amor girls who arrived on the same day. Martha Rothwell came back with Aidan, then coupled with Jordon until Day 38. Marà Pirez came back with Simba and was dumped on Day 30.
Ellie vs. Elicia
Ellie Chadwick was a Day 1 islander who ran through four partners and walked on Day 38. Elicia Bailey was a Day 32 bombshell who stole Ellie’s partner Finley two days later, then coupled with Aidan.
Samraj vs. Simba vs. Sam
Samraj Toor was Mica’s partner, on and off, from Day 1 to Day 46. Simba Kudyiwa arrived on Day 7 and finished third with Angelista. Sam Workman was a Day 1 islander dumped on Day 16.
Aidan vs. Ethan
Both were coupled with Priya in the last fortnight. Aidan was there from Day 1 and had more partners than anyone — seven. Ethan Ellis walked in on Day 32 and stole Priya on Day 34, before she picked Aidan again on Day 40.
Who actually stayed put
Lola and Seán coupled up on Day 1 and never recoupled with anyone else — the only pair in the series who didn’t. They were dumped on Day 33 after offering to leave.

Entered on Day 7 and coupled with Ellie until the Day 16 steals. Dumped Day 21.
Robyn Langton
Coupled with Sam from Day 1. Left unchosen at the Day 7 recoupling and dumped.
Sam Workman
Robyn’s Day 1 partner, later coupled with Namibia and then Mica. Dumped Day 16.
Scope: Series 13 of Love Island UK — the main summer series, which ran on ITV2 from 1 June to 27 July 2026 (48 days, hosted by Maya Jama) and streams on Hulu in the US. This is not the winter All Stars spin-off, which is a separate run with a separate cast. The chart records only what aired: who coupled with whom, on which day, who was dumped and where each couple finished in the Day 48 public vote. It deliberately stops at the final — nothing here describes anyone’s life after the show. Twenty-six of the thirty-eight islanders appear; the rest had short stays that didn’t change the couplings.
